Alcohol Metabolism Broken Down

  • 1. Breaking Down the Alcohol

To start from the beginning, all alcoholic beverages contain ethanol. When we drink, our bodies breakdown the ethanol by utilizing the enzyme, Alcohol Dehydrogenase (ADH)

  • 2. Converting Ethanol to Acetaldehyde

The ADH enzyme then converts the ethanol to a toxin called acetaldehyde, which needs to be removed from the body by the Aldehyde Dehydrogenase 2 (ALDH2) enzyme

  • 3. Why Some People Get Red

For most, alcohol is eliminated from the body by the ADH and ALDH2 enzymes. However, for a lot of people on this website, our ALDH2 enzymes are inactive, resulting in a build-up of acetaldehyde

How JOYN Helps

When those with dormant ALDH2 enzymes drink alcohol, the build up of acetaldehyde can lead to redness, sweating, hangovers and more.

Lucky for you, JOYN is designed to act as an ALDH2 replacement, removing acetaldehyde from the body, so that you can celebrate more and stress less.

Crafted By Scientists, For You

After 2 years of trials, tests and tweaks, our team of expert scientists created the perfect blend to break down alcohol-related toxins and boost your body's natural detox process

  • B Vitamins

As alcohol enters the body it quickly inhibits the absorption of B vitamins. Luckily, JOYN contains 5 different B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B12) to promote alcohol detox and digestion

  • Vitamin C + Zinc

These ingredients play pivotal roles in supporting your immune system, decreasing inflammation and protecting against toxins. This helps reduce flush and hangovers by lowering the accumulation of acetaldehyde in the liver

  • Enzyme Boosters

DHM, Bromelain and Selenium have the ability to boost ADH and ALDH2 activity by signaling to the liver to create more Glutathione. Not only does this protect the body from damage and infection, but it also increases alcohol metabolism

  • Amino Acids

Amino acids are the building blocks of enzymes. NAC, L-Theanine, L-Taurine and Milk Thistle are the main ones needed to maximize Glutathione production in order to breakdown alcohol effectively

  • Antioxidants

L-Glutathione is the vital enzyme in charge of the detoxification of ethanol and acetaldehyde in the liver. It helps repair cell damage, regenerates vitamins and helps break down alcohol to dramatically reduce hangover symptoms

    A Happier, Healthier You

JOYN is designed to tackle alcohol at the source, so that you can reshape the way you celebrate.

Goodbye Redness. Goodbye Hangovers. Hello Confidence.

Why can’t I just take Pepcid or Zantac?

Alcohol flush is a result of the body's inability to effectively metabolize alcohol. While Pepcid/Zantac may provide temporary relief, JOYN is designed to offer a more targeted and comprehensive solution by boosting the body's natural ability to breakdown alcohol.

Can I use JOYN to prevent a hangover?

Yes. JOYN is designed to breakdown alcoholic toxins in the body and remove them from your system. This may help some people feel better during and after drinking, but is not a guaranteed hangover cure.

Can I take JOYN even if I'm not drinking?

JOYN can be taken with or without alcohol. It is a great supplement to take for your long-term health since its ingredients are designed to support your body's natural detox, immunity, inflammation and defense systems.

Why does my urine turn bright yellow when I take Joyn?

This is due to the presence of Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin). Riboflavin is a water-soluble vitamin that is not effectively stored in the body, so any excess is usually removed in the urine. It's completely normal and safe and indicates that your body is metabolizing the Riboflavin effectively.

Will I feel the effects of alcohol less when I take Joyn?

JOYN is not intended to make you less drunk and does not affect your blood alcohol content. Please consume alcohol responsibly and in moderation when using JOYN.

Is JOYN FDA-approved?
